Collesa K. Yates, 57, of Parkersburg passed away June 27, 2007, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 20, 1949, a daughter of the late Eudora M. Horner Dooley.
Collesa was a 1968 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. She had worked at the south side K-Mart with over 28 years of service and was a member of the First Assembly of God.
Collesa is survived by her husband, Donald E. Yates Sr. of Parkersburg; two sons, Donald E. Yates Jr. and Douglas B. Yates, both of Parkersburg; two sisters, Rhonda Farr of Parkersburg and Debbie Cummings of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Ryan Michael, Allison, Payton and Wyatt Yates, all of Parkersburg; one aunt, Ruth Byrd of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Everett White.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg, with the Rev. Tony Raffa and Robert Holland officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
