Mrs. Maria Lucia Clark, 68, died Friday morning (March 26, 2021) at her residence. She was born December 10, 1952 in Bogota, Colombia to the late Antonio Acosta and Cecilia Inez Olano. Maria was employed by the Ware County Board of Education as a migrant facilitator from 2001 until 2015. She was a member of Kettle Creek Church. Maria was survived by her husband, Ricky D. Clark, Sr. of Waycross; two children, Ricky D. Clark, Jr. (Patty) and Chris P. Clark (Jessica) both of Blackshear; grandchildren, Petie Clark, Marianna Taylor, Noah Clark, Luke Clark, Gracie Clark, Natalie Boyett, Audrey Boyett, Riley Quinn Clark and Elyse Clark; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Antonio Acosta and Pilar Acosta both of Bogota, Colombia; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday (March 29, 2021) at Kettle Creek Church. Burial will follow in Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Music Funeral Home.
