Eleanor B. Thomas, 97, of Springtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2021 while in the care of Saucon Valley Manor, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Theodore C. Thomas, Jr. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ella (Ziegenfus) Bailey. She worked for the Bethlehem Steel as a Scheduling Clerk. Eleanor was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pleasant Valley, where she was a member of the Senior Group and Altar Guild. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, making quilts and spending time with her loving granddog.
SURVIVORS: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Ellen Torok of Nazareth; nephew Jeff Thomas of Kintersville; nieces Linda Shinsky of Hughville, Cindy Bilheimer of Pinellas Park, FL and Sandy Cope of Allentown and many great nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018. Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. and also on Thursday Morning from 10 A.M. until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
