Doug was the son of Zedie Harrison and Mamie H. Harrison. He was educated in the Macon County School System and attended Flint River Farms School. He was employed with Seaboard Coastline Railroad Company and Hazel Ray Trucking Company as a Truck Driver. He was a member of The Soul Liberator's Band. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in the Five Points Community of Montezuma, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Annie Buckles and Mildred Tuff and 3 brothers, James Harrison, Charlie Harrison and Bobby Harrison.

1 Daughter: Deborah Berry(Walter).
1 Son: Harold Clark.
2 Sisters: Jessie Bell Spivet(James T.) and Zeddie Harrison.
1 Brother: Charles Harrison(Geraldine).
3 Devoted Nieces: Rose Marie Brown(Marvin), Marvis Brown and Zyriah Brown.
6 Grandchildren: Terri Gaines, Kennedi Berry, Kortney Berry, Bradford Clark, Alexis Clark and Jolina Rivera(Arturo).
Graveside services were held Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11AM in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in the Five Points Community of Montezuma, Georgia with Minister James Harrison officiating.
