Norma Robey Ward, 77, of Parkersburg died May 15, 2004, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.
She was born June 29, 1926, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Harry and Maud Shafer Robey. She was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Gladys "Tiny" Armstrong of Lubeck; 10 nieces and nephews, Myrna Cochran, Karen Rippeto, Linda Weaver, Michael Robey, David Robey, Darrell Miller, James Miller, Nina Hanson, Max Sloan and Ruth Ann Moss; two sisters-in-law, Geraldine Sloan of Parkersburg and Blondell Miller of Ravenswood; a brother-in-law, the Rev. Clay Sloan of Parkersburg; and several great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Junior" Ward; a brother, Bud Robey; and nephew, Buddy Roger Robey.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Larry Piatt officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
