Henry C. McGray, 73, of 4918 S. 13th St., died at St. Nicholas Hospital Wednesday.
He was born in Hubbell, Mich., July 2, 1905, a son of Ulric and Georgiana Obain McGray. He attended local schools, and came to Sheboygan as a young man with his family.
On Nov. 24, 1934, he married Erma Koehn in Sheboygan.
He served with the Merchant Marine on the Great Lakes for 17 years, was employed at the Kohler Co. for 24 years until 1971, and owned and operated Mac's Resale Shop on North 15th Street until his retirement in 1978.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Lawrence, of Oconto Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Susan) Raszkiewicz, of Wildwood, III.; two grandchildren;
five brothers, George, of Sheboygan Falls, Wilfred, of Tampa, Fla., Roland, of Gross Point Park, Mich., Irving, of Sheboygan, and Weldon, of Montclair, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Cora Francis and Mrs. Irene Hazlitt, both of Biloxi, Miss., Mrs. Calvin Friedli, of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. James Walsh, of Schenectady, N. Y.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Arthur Dingel, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, officiating. Entombment will be in the Garden Terrace Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. Friday until the time of services Saturday.
