Donald Dean Beasley, 72 of Edmond has passed away. He was born in Perry, OK on June 26, 1948. He was the oldest of 2 boys. When he was a young boy, the Beasley's moved to southwest Oklahoma where he attended Claude schools. He graduated from Velma-Alma High School with the class of 1966.

He worked as an over the road driver most of his life. He raised a beautiful daughter Haley; she was the light of his life. He enjoyed fishing and rooting for Oklahoma State as long as they weren't playing the Oklahoma Sooners.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Mable Beasley.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Haley Dawn Beasley of Healdton, OK; brother John Beasley and his wife Lisa of Connecticut; nephew John Beasley of Tulsa; niece Caroline Lewis and her wife Kimi of Moore; nephew Chris Beasley and his wife Tracy of North Carolina; nephew Shaun Beasley of Colorado; three great nieces and 6 great-great nieces. He is also survived by life-long friend Randy Davis of Duncan, OK.

Graveside services will be held at Grace Hill Cemetery on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 2 p.m. Minister Gene Johnson will officiate. Honorary bearers include Clarence Koch, Mary Lou Dillard Grant, Chris Beasley, and Shaun Beasley. His guest book will be available for signatures at Brown Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N 7th St Perry, OK, Monday-Thursday.

Donald had a giving heart, in lieu of flowers, he has asked that donations be made in his name to the OU Children's hospital at 901 N. Lincoln Blvd., Suite 305 Oklahoma City, OK 7310
