Elizabeth K. Hahn, 82, of Taneytown, died Wed, March 24, 2021, at her home. She was the wife of Charles M. Hahn, Jr. for 66 years. Born March 8, 1939 in Frederick, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late J.K. & T. Kathleen (Gillenwater) Shoemaker. She attended Taneytown High School and had worked at Sylvia Garments, Littlestown, Westminster Livestock Auction, on the farm along with her husband and was retired from Littlestown High School cafeteria.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter, Janice C. Meier & John of Taneytown; her son, John R. Hahn of Dallastown; her brother, George A. "Gus" Shoemaker & Beverly of Taneytown and her sister, Frances "Sis" Duvall & Donald of Taneytown. Elizabeth was predeceased by her granddaughter, Amanda Hahn in 2003. She was a member of Piney Creek Church of the Brethren, Taneytown where she taught the youth of the church. She was an avid reader.

Funeral Service is Monday, March 29, at 2 P.M. at her church with The Rev. Stan T. Diehl officiating. Viewing is in church from 1 - 2 P.M. Covid-19 guidelines will be followed with masks being worn. Interment is in Piney Creek Cemetery, Taneytown.
