Bobby Carl Cook, 79, of Sedgwickville, Mo., died Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Born on Oct. 7, 1941, in Patton, Mo., he was the son of Odell and Birdie Garland Cook. He was married to Gladys Mae Besher Cook, who preceded him in death in 2010.

He worked 38 years for Atlas Plastics Company as a Relief Operator, and he was a farmer..

A life-long member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church, he was a former church deacon who loved to sing. He enjoyed restoring Allis Chalmer tractors and working on cars.

He is survived by five children: two sons: Christopher (Lisa) Cook of Jackson, Mo and Curtis (Angie) Cook of Festus, Mo; three daughters: Mindy (Nathan) Brown of Jackson, Megan (Darron) Baker of Marble Hill, and Mia (Brent) Trout of Naples, FL; a brother, Donnie Cook; three sisters: Lela Fern Cory, Shirley Hovis, and Glenda Cook; ten grandchildren: Blake Cook, Preston and Chace Cook, Erin, Rachel, and Breyton Baker, Ethan and Eliza Brown, Daisy and Maggie Trout; and one great-grandchild: Beckhem Cook.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.

Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Terry Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Pulliam Cemetery near Patton.
