CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND —- Betty Caroline Conner, 89, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at her home.

Born September 30, 1931, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Conner was the daughter of the late Elmer Gail Twigg and Beulah Pearl (Lynch) Twigg. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth Lloyd Conner; her son: Vincent Conner; her brother: Kenneth Twigg; and her sister: June Gross; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

A graduate of Fort Hill High School, Betty was a homemaker. She was formerly employed by Baker's Service Station in Ellerslie. Betty was an avid bingo player, and loved her animals. Her family always came first.

Betty is survived by her grandchildren: Misty Kasecamp and husband, Aaron; and Steven Conner and wife, Marykate. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Blake Dawson, and Emmylou Conner; her step great grandchildren: Amber, Kiara, and Jade Kasecamp; as well as Diane Ranker, who was like a daughter-in-law to her.

Per her request, there will be no services. The family would like to give a special thanks to Diane for all the care and compassion given, as well as Jim and Debbie Kasecamp for the goodies, and to the UPMC Home Hospice for the excellent care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, Second Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
