Mrs. Ruby Louise Stokes Edwards, age 91, of Lindale passed away Wednesday March 24, 2021.
Mrs. Edward was born October 29, 1929, in Floyd County, a daughter of the late Coleman Lee Stokes, and Cleo Stokes. She was a member of Eden Valley Baptist Church, and was retired from Chulio Hills Health and Rehab after 36 years of service. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by daughters, Sharon Lynn Edwards, Cynthia Edwards, brother, Fred Stokes, sisters, Lucille Pate, and Pauline Walraven.
Survivors include her sons, Ricky (Rena) Barnett, Michael (June) Edwards, grandchildren, Christy Edwards, David Edwards, Kayla (Josh) Evans, great grandchildren, Drew and Max Cook, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.m. Saturday March 27, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Billy Wilson and Rev. Stephen Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:30 AM until the hour of the service.
