BOONVILLE, Jan. 11. — Burton L. Palmer of the hardware firm of Palmer Bros., died Sunday morning. He had consumption.
Mr. Palmer was born here in 1874. He graduated from the Boonville High School and then studied stenography and secured a good position in New York, but failing health compelled him to give it up. He was an earnest worker in Gorton Zeta Chapter of Theta Phi Fraternity and a model young man.
Besides his parents, two brothers, Earnest and Elwin survive him. Rome Citizen, Friday, January 12, 1900
