Otto Lee "Buddy" Dozier

Funeral services for Otto Lee "Buddy" Dozier, 58, of Rosharon, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Palms Funeral Home with Brother C.A. Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Angleton Cemetery. Buddy passed away on Friday, September 22, 1995, in Angleton.

Buddy was born March 26, 1937. in Winnie, Texas, to Bernice Graves Harpster and Collis Lee Dozier. A longtime area resident, he was a member of the Rosharon Volunteer Fire Department and Texas Rural Letter Carrier's Union Local #37. He was preceded in death by his son, James Allen Dozier. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dozier of Rosharon, to whom he was wed on February 17, 1956.

He is also survived by his son, Robert Lee Dozier of Lake Jackson; daughter, Toni Rena Dozier of Rosharon; brother, Arnold Dozier of Rosharon; sister, Lorriane Roper of Rye; grandmother, Lucille Dozier of Cairo, Georgia; nine grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be the Rosharon Volunteer Fire Department. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
