VIRGINIA BEACH - M.T. "Buddy'' Murden, 74, died July 5, 2003. He served as a merchant marine, was the former owner of M.T. Murden Construction Inc. and retired from the C.L. Pincus Construction Company as a superintendent.
Buddy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia M. Murden; son, Stephen Timothy Murden and his wife, Liz; daughter, Brenda Murden Bishop and her husband, Dennis; brother, Raymond S. Murden; sister, Doris Morelen; four grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held in Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, on Tuesday at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association.
