Roy Adams, 79, born June 15, 1941 a native of Schriever, LA and resident of Chackbay, LA passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a carpenter by trade and loved to go crawfishing.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Thibodaux Funeral Home, Thibodaux, LA from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 8:30am until 10:30am with a Mass of Christian burial following at Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Chackbay, LA at 11:00am. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Laura A. Adams; son, Karl Adams and wife, Denise; daughter, Dayna A. Duet and husband, Kenneth; granddaughters, Karlie Adams Angelle (Rusty), Taylor Adams Alleman (Daniel), and Sheridan Lillian Duet; great-granddaughters, Sutton and Eden Angelle; great-grandson, Wyatt Alleman; brother, Nolan Adams, Sr.; and sisters, Delta Adams and Agnes Bourgeois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Adams, Jr. and Lillian Morvant Adams; and sister, Mary Ann LaRose.
