Born in Cleveland County, on June 16, 1948, he was a son of the late Addie Edward Walker and Annie Maude Newton Walker. He was retired from Classic Leather and a member of Faith Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his four brothers, Raymond, Marce, Forest and Lawrence Walker and one sister, Coleen Parker.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sue Hudson and husband, Roger of Casar and Nancy Dennis of Shelby; sister, Nadine Goodman of Casar; seven grandchildren, Bobby Hudson, Tammy Davis, Kelsey Walker, Bobbie Jean Walker, Heather Mull, Steven Dennis, D.J. Dennis and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial in St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery.
