Charles, 88, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021 at the Jackson County Medical Facility, Jackson MI. He was born to William C. and Frances M. Kilburn.

Chuck married the love of his life, Shirley M. Kilburn on October 27, 1951. Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of New Hope Community Church, actively involved with the Salvation Army as a bell ringer during the Christmas season and had previously served as Sunday Superintendent at the Assembly of God. Chuck and his wife were involved with the Foster Care Program, taking in many children over the years.

Chuck was known for being an avid hunter. He is survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers; children, Linda O'Dell, Randy (Beth) Kilburn, Julie (Jerry) Guy and Roxanne Payne; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

He was preceded is death by his wife, his parents and one brother.

He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Foundation or to New Hope Community Church.

All will be welcomed to celebrate Chuck's life with us at his memorial at New Hope Community Church. Date to be announced. Lauer Family Funeral Home Jackson has been entrusted to care for the family.
