Michael Wayne Gray, 58, of Hugo OK passed away on February 27, 2021. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Michael was born on January 30, 1963, to Almon Monroe "Tat" Gray and Anna Bell Gray-Gamblin in Hugo, OK.
Michael was born and raised in Hugo but moved away for years, residing in Lafayette Louisiana, Tyler Texas and Prague Oklahoma. He decided to move back to Hugo about 6 years ago.
He was an Arborist by trade but also served his country in the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors along with visiting family and friends, but really loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Michael had a big heart and wanted the best for everyone he ever met. He was able to fulfill this passion by volunteering his time to help people through My Brother's Place Organization in Hugo OK.
He is survived by three daughters, Keri Gray, Diann Johnson, and Crystal Gray. Eight grandchildren Casey Gray, Lamya Gray, Hailey McClour, Madelyn Hamilton, Ramya Jackson, Jakya Jackson, Irekus Jackson, and Serenity Gray; his mother Anna Bell Gray; two brothers Billy Gray and Jimmy Gray; one sister-in-law Jana Gray.
He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Gray; two children Keshia Marie Gray and Michael Ray Gray; his father Almon Monroe "Tat" Gray.
