Gary D. Cornett, 60, of LeClaire, Iowa, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus in Silvis, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday at the funeral home. Face masks will be required and social distancing will be observed. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Gary was born March 22, 1961 in Davenport, the son of Bobbie Lee & Beverly Mae (Wages) Cornett.
He was retired from Red Jacket Pump and was actively involved with Local 1442. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and boating.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Alivia Cornett of Norwalk, Iowa; his sons, Bob (Rhonda) Cornett of Folletts, Iowa, Beau (Missy) Cornett of Marengo, Iowa and Tyler (Makenzie) Cornett of Hampton, Illinois; his grandchildren, Kayla, Carter and Blake; and his brothers, Mike (Sharon) Cornett, Rodney Cornett and Allen (Tina) Cornett, all of LeClaire.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
