Myrtle B. Dollar, age 88, of Rock Haven passed away Sunday, April 26, 1998 at Rock Haven Nursing Home. Mrs. Dollar was born May 25, 1909 in Cedartown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will E. West and Cora Robinson West; her husband, Russell Dollar; and two daughters, Mozell Birdsong and Cora Mae Church. Survivors include three sisters, Lucile Benefield of Cedartown, Lois Davis of Pell City, Ala., Margaret Finch of Decatur, GA.; a brother, Lee West of Atlanta; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 22 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, May 4, 1998 at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. Moses Wilson officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Buddy Benefield, Walton East, Noah Benefield, Tuumamao Tuiagamoa, Ben England and Steve Pratte. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
