Engineer. Edmund was responsible for the plans & building of the Aswan Dam & the barrages of Asyut & Esna. He compiled two valuable reports on the hydrography of the Upper Nile, initated the geological survey of Egype in 1896 & erected the new buildings of the National Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in 1902.
