Kenneth "Ken" G. Glover, 90, of Bremen, GA formerly of Peoria, IL passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his home. He was born on December 13, 1930 in Benton, IL to John H. and Opal Marie (Frailey) Glover. He married Joy E. Kelly Glover on December 12, 1953 in Peoria, IL and she passed away on July 2, 1985. He married Phyllis Nowlin on September 20, 1985 in Nashville, TN. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Robin (Steve) Hanson of Metamora; three stepsons, Jim (Allie) Nowlin of Baton Rouge, LA, Stephen (Robbin) Nowlin of Waco, GA and Jeff (Karen) Nowlin of Calhoun; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cindy Wallace of Little Rock, AK and Sarilee Nash of Little Rock, AK; and one brother, David Glover or East Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Rubye M. Glover; one son, Jeffrey W. Glover; and four siblings, John Glover, Jerry Glover, Shirley Mace and Dick Glover.
Ken was owner with his brother, John of VP Autobody in Peoria. He also was a claims adjuster with Crawford & Co in Peoria and retired as Property Manager of Bnai Brith Senior Living Apartments in Peoria. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict.
Ken was a faithful member and Elder at East Peoria Church of Christ in East Peoria for many years and also was a faithful member of Bremen Church of Christ in Bremen, GA until his death.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 12N at East Peoria Church of Christ, 520 Arnold Rd, East Peoria, IL 61611.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
