THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, Thursday, June 4, 1925: 'R. D. Andrews who was justice of the peace at Powderly and was engaged in the mercantile business there several years, and who moved six years ago to Healdton, Ok., where he was engaged in the oil business, died in a hospital in Ardmore Saturday night. He had been in bad health the last three or four years. The remains were brought back to his former home and the burial took place Tuesday afternoon at the Long cemetery near Powderly. He was a member of the Masonic lodge in Paris, and the Masons officiated at the funeral. He is survived by three sons, all living at Healdton, and a daughter at Moran, Shackelford county. He also leaves a brother R. L. Andrews, and a sister, Mrs. Milt Duff, both of whom live near Powderly.'

Born in Texas, son of G. A. and M. J. Andrews. Married N. J. Miller.
