Thomas Earl "Tom" Acker, age 88 of Sturgis, KY passed away Tuesday 3/23/2021 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. He was born Feb 22, 1933 in Henshaw, KY to Henry & Ida Acker. He was a plumber by trade and retired from Earle C. Clements Job Corps.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 61 years Annetta Acker; 2 brothers James H. & Charles W. Acker; sisters Mary F. Huckeby, Betsy Suehrstedt, Margaret Bebout.

Funeral service will be 10 AM Friday 3/36/21at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Chaplain Mike Austin will officiate.
Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday and 8:30 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Caseyville Cemetery. The family would like to express special thanks to Deaconess Gateway Medsurge ICU and St. Anthony's Hospice for the excellent care provided to Tom.
