Rodney P. Jackson, 47, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on June 23, 1973, to Paul and Doris (Vagedes) Jackson. Rodney graduated from Lake High School in 1991, and later served his apprenticeship and became a Journeyman Ironworker for Local 55.

He had many passions in life from cars, running, weightlifting, The Ohio State Buckeyes, to going camping or just sitting out by the campfire. He was a member of the Riverview Yacht Club. He had a love for building and fixing things, always making them stronger as any Ironworker would. Rodney enjoyed being with family and friends and going snowmobiling with his 7 "brothers"; Clark, Tommy, Bob, Springer, Zane, Flip and Mikey. Rodney cherished many things in life, but what was most important to him was his son, Ryan.

Rodney is survived by his parents, Paul and Doris Jackson; son, Ryan Jackson; sisters, Kristen (Michael) Smith, Cindy (Chuck) Almroth; girlfriend, Rachael Jeffrey; nieces and nephews, Katlyn, Jacob and Jackson Smith and Nick, Libbey and Blake Almroth; step-children, Jordan, Brandan and Meagan Insco and Abbigael and Hannah Poulin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Marie Vagedes and William and Reva Jackson.

Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville, Rd., Millbury, Ohio, on Sunday, March 28, 2021, from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
