URBANA - Donna M. (Norviel) Metz Moody, 90 of Urbana passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in her home with her family by her side.
She was born June 19, 1930 in LaCross, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Lewis and Stella (Newman) Norviel. Donna was a 1948 graduate of North Lewisburg High School. Donna retired as a scheduler from Grimes Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Renewed Strength Church. Donna enjoyed volunteering at the Caring Kitchen, was always helpful to others and she loved to cook.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Snyder; son, Steven (Bea) Metz; grandchildren Natalie Moore (JD), Nathan Metz and Wade Snyder; great grandchildren, Darian (Ryan) Perks, Cydnee Metz, Jaycee Moore, Owen Metz, Johnny Moore and Ella Metz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wesley (Jo) Metz, Nellie Metz and Ida (Dick) Huffman as well as several nieces, nephews, stepchildren and step grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Charles Metz; second husband, Curtis Moody; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald Norviel, Leonard (Mary Alice) Rowe and Frank (Ruby) Metz.
Private services will be held at the conveniences of the family. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
