He was born in Clarion County, Pennsylvania on August 24, 1938 a son of the late Charles and Twila Schrecengost Orr.
Don loved boating, fishing, hunting, gardening, farming, and enjoyed gathering with family and friends. He also enjoyed helping others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Bill, Richard (Dick), Dale, Randy and Harry (Zeep); and one grandson.
Surviving are his wife, Roxanna E. Orr whom he married on April 4, 1994; three daughters, Cindy (Eric) Stockley of Ravenna, Ohio, Kim Kososky of Atwater, Ohio, Terri (Mark) Hagy of Ravenna, Ohio; three sisters, Illene Aaron of Strallville, Pennsylvania, Bonnie (Dennis) Curlland of Mayport, Pennsylvania, Roxanna (Roger) Chillcott of New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; one brother, Thomas (Ann) Orr of Mayport, Pennsylvania; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Orr of New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; two brothers-in-law, Steve Aaron and Bernard Aaron, both of Strallville, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville, Ohio.
