Gary is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Faye Burton; son, Gary Lee Burton and wife, Veda; daughter, Alisha Hayes and husband, Rev. Russell Hayes; granddaughters, Melody Enloe and husband, Jimmy, Aunalee Green and husband, Chad, Ashton Dorow and husband, Austin, Addison Hayes; great-grandchildren, Blakelee Green, Rynlee Green, Wimberlee Green (due 9/2021), River Enloe; brother, Robert Burton and wife, Sandy; sister, Carla Wager and a host of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Muriel Burton.
The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a service to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Abundant Life Church, 200 W Mink Street, Willis, Texas 77378. Rev. Dave Stovall and Rev. Nathan Scoggins will be officiating. A prayer service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Abundant Life Church. Internment to follow at Smith Memorial Park, Willis, Texas.
