OBITUARY

Marion Hughes
Richfield, Utah

Marion Ethel Bailey Hughes, 94, passed away at her home in Richfield. She was the wife of the late Kermit Hughes. She and Kermit weren’t blessed with any children, but they always had a dog, which they loved and spoiled.

Marion was born February 19, 1927 in Middletown, Connecticut to George H and Ethel J Crowell Bailey and was the ninth of 12 children. She and Kermit lived most of their married life in Colorado. While living in Denver, Marion worked as a supervisor at the Federal Reserve Bank. They also lived in Fruita and Grand Junction. Marion moved to Richfield later in her life to be close to her brother, Jim and his family.

Marion had a bubbly personality and loved to sing. She never lost that child-like sparkle, and her zest for life was contagious.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews, who are scattered from coast to coast. Also preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings.

The family would like to thank the staff of Stonehenge of Richfield, for the excellent care that Marion received there.

Cremation services to be held at the Magleby Mortuary Crematory. Marion’s remains will be buried next to her husband and beloved dog, Mitzi, In Fruita, CO. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
