Berwick man loved being outdoors, camping
James P. Pearson Jr., 32, of Berwick passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2021.
Born in Danville on April 15, 1988, he was a son of Tabitha S. Baker and James P. Pearson Sr. of Berwick. He was raised and educated in Berwick and was currently employed at Patriot Metals in Berwick.
James loved being a father and spending time with his son. He enjoyed being outdoors and camping, especially with family and friends. He was a very social person and liked being around people. He was a Boston Red Sox and Cincinnati Bengals fan.
In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by his son, Demetri Pearson, Berwick; brother, Clint Pearson, Berwick; paternal grandmother, Wanda Balazs Seltzer, Shickshinny; aunt, Kelly Monto, Harrisburg; step-grandfather, Dave Naus; and many cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ronald Baker and Mary Sue (Slusser) Naus; paternal grandfather, John Pearson Sr.; step-grandfather, Steve Seltzer; uncles, Michael Pearson and John Pearson Jr.; and aunt Phyllis Pearson.
A viewing will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E. Third St., Nescopeck. A funeral service will follow with his pastor, the Rev. John Baumgartner, of Heritage Baptist Church, officiating.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family asks for contributions to be made to his son, Demetri.
