LEONARD JOSEPH J., JR Passed on March 22, 2021, of Cherry Hill NJ at the age of 94 years old. Beloved son of the late Mary and Joseph Leonard. Predeceased by wife, Rita (nee Gillespie), brothers William Leonard and Frank Leonard. Devoted father of Marianne Abrams (Mark), David Leonard (Mary), Tesa Leonard (Kathy Giles), Katie Gardner (Joe) and Patrick Leonard. Loving Grandfather of Mark Abrams, Jennifer Johnson, David Leonard, Michelle Butrica, Sean Gardner, Lindsay Gardner, Justin Leonard and great grandfather of Kailee and Alex Johnson, Cole and Evan Abrams, Nadia and Fiona Butrica.

An Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. Graduated from West Catholic High School and Drexel University with a BS in Commerce, self-employed Salesman and Home Builder. Dedicated the 2nd half of his life to Alcoholics Anonymous with 43 years of sobriety. He touched many lives and made it his life 's mission to help and support people suffering with addiction, the abused and less privileged. He was passionate about Politics, the Catholic Church and Women's Rights. Above all else, he loved his family.

A private family viewing at BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME. Catholic Mass at Holy Eucharist Church and interred at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
