Nathan C. Porter, aged 62 years, died at his home at No. 6 Maple street Wednesday from paralysis. Mr. Porter suffered a shock on Monday night from which he never regained consciousness. Mr. Porter was born at Corfu, living in that place until six years ago when he moved to Batavia. He was a past grand of the Corfu I. O. O. F. Lodge and a member of the Corfu Presbyterian church and the Corfu grange. Mr. Porter is survived by his wife, five, sons, three daughters, one brother, and 16 grandchildren. His funeral will be held this afternoon from his late home at 1 o'clock, and from the Corfu Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock. The burial will take place in the Evergreen Hill cemetery, Corfu.
