It is with great sadness that the family of Russell "Pops" Wilson announce his passing on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021.
Russell was preceded in death by his wife, by six weeks, of 60 years, Geneva Wilson.
Russell will be lovingly remembered by his children: daughter Donna Jimenez, son, Jeff Wilson and daughter Cyndi Wilson. Russell and Geneva also raised Courtney Wilson as their own.
Russell will also be dearly missed by his five grandchildren: Jacob McCullough, Josh Wilson, Brandi Guerra, Meagan Barrera, Alexis McCullough and his eight great-grandchildren: Logan, Eric, Emma, Hayden, Parker, Sophia, Jaxon, Aspen and two more on the way.
Russell and Geneva opened Wilson's Leather Goods in 1980 and have continued to touch so many lives. We are so thankful for so many loyal customers over the years.
Russell is survived by his sisters Joyce Beaty, Patty Barringer, Brenda Sue Roberts; his brother in law Tommy Roberts, sister in law Jeannie Curtis and Shirley Langley; son in law Joe Jimenez, daughter in law Rose Wison and many nieces and nephews.
Russell was a hard-working family man who enjoyed the company of others. Anyone who knew Russell knew he was a big kid at heart and always had a smile on his face.
