Sandy graduated from Vicksburg High School in Vicksburg, MS in 1978 and moved to Montgomery, TX with her parents. She worked at Shell Oil Company in Houston, TX in 1979 and 1980.
Sandy married Kenneth Kelly on November 1, 1980. They lived in Anaheim, CA until 1983, moving to Houston, TX where they raised their three children, Erin, Leah and Sarah. Finally settling in The Woodlands, TX from 2013 to 2021.
Sandy so loved being a mother and a wife. She enjoyed playing tennis, swimming, snorkeling, and beach activities. She also fashioned skiing and hiking in the mountains of Colorado. And of course, shopping for "deals" with her dear girl friends.
Sandy's family and friends will always remember her as a beautiful Christian, child of God. She was a wonderful and loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister with a passionate heart to "honor her family" and "love thy neighbor".
Sandy is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Henry Rodgers; grandmothers, Cecile Katherine Vanskike Cordner, and Yula Mae White Rodgers; grandfathers, Douglas Eugene Badousek, and Floyd Henry Rodgers; aunt, Barbara Ellen Badousek Greene; and uncle, Douglas Eugene Badousek.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Kristopher Kelly; daughters, Erin Rachele Kelly Machajewski, Leah Daniele Kelly Kullman, and Sarah Marquele Kelly Feldman; mother, Janice Cecile Badousek Rodgers; sisters, Sunny Gayle Rodgers, and Samantha Kay Rodgers Anderson.
A Celebration of Faith and Life will be held at a later date.
