David Wayne Utz, age 69, of Berry, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana, Kentucky. He was born in Butler, Kentucky, on August 3, 1951, a son of the late Robert and Laura Whitaker Utz. He was a school bus driver for Pendleton County for 27 years, a member of Falmouth Wesleyan Church and a United States Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four siblings, Lester Utz, Bertha Miller, Leona Tillet and Norma Meyers. Survivors include: his wife, Kimberly Perkins Utz; a son, Brad (Charity) Utz; a daughter, April (Mel) Griffieth; a brother, Robert Utz; two sisters, Marcella Bonar Cole and Garnett Marshall; four grandchildren, Katie (Gunner Bryan) Griffieth, Cathy Griffieth, Kenny Wayne Griffieth and Noah Utz.

Visitation will be held from 11a:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Falmouth. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. David's final resting place will be at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the David Utz Burial Fund.
