Virginia B. Hamilton, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 19, 2021. She was born in Ganado, TX and was a long-term resident of Dickinson and Bacliff, TX.
She worked many years as a bilingual interpreter and custodian for Dickinson ISD, among many other jobs. She had a passion for gardening and was a great cook!
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Nasario and Rita Benavides and her son, Allen Ramos.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Those that knew her, described her as hard working and forthright. She raised her children with discipline, love, respect, and her own brand of humor. She will be deeply missed.
There will be a visitation and memorial service from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Carnes Funeral Home 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Tx 77591
