Marilyn A. Lambert, 86, of West Chester, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014. She was the wife of Robert E. Lambert, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.

Born in York, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Isabelle Morganstern Allen. She was a 1949 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Physical Education and Science and then taught and coached at Dallastown High School.

She was a member of West Chester United Methodist Church. She loved to golf and was a longtime member of West Chester Golf and Country Club. She also was an avid bridge player.

In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her children: Sandra Ream (Barry) and Gary Lambert (Ro); grandsons: Andrew and Christopher Ream and Kyle and Troy Lambert.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 12th at the Founds Funeral Home, Inc., 229 South High Street, West Chester, 610-696-0134, where the family will receive guests starting at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E Marshall St., West Chester PA 19380.
