Alex Tribune, Alex, Grady Co., OK, Friday, June 3, 1932: "About Folks You Know - A number of friends and acquaintances attended the funeral services of Mrs. Amanda Julian at the Ireton cemetery on Sunday of last week. Mrs. Julian was formerly a resident of this community, and a better woman never lived. She bore all her trials and sorrows without a murmer and was ever ready to help in any way she could. She had been sick a long time and died Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Cox, in the Ireton community."
