He was born in Rockport, a son of the late Claremont C. and Martha Brown Pfalzgraf. He attended the Camden Avenue Church of Christ, was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. and was a member of the Plummers and Pipefitters Local 565.
Survivors include three sons, Jack Pfalzgraf and his wife, Judy, of Washington, Ed Pfalzgraf and his wife, Betty, of Parkersburg and Jim Pfalzgraf of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Olive White Pfalzgraf; a daughter, Wanda Smith; a grandchild; four brothers, Harold, Robert, Rex and Lawrence Pfalzgraf; and a sister, Mary Post.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Tom D. Butterfield officiating. There will be no graveside services. Burial will be at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
