Gary Steven Fisher, 61, of Orleans, passed away at 10:46 AM on September 25, 2019 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born Oct 12, 1957 in Bedford, IN, the son of Burrell J and Dorothy M. (Strange) Fisher.
He married Dianna (Hackney) Fisher on September 30, 1978 and she survives.
He was a member of the Orleans Christian Church for fifty-two years where he served as an elder for over twenty years. He worked for the U.S. Postal service in Mitchell as a letter carrier. He graduated from the Orleans High School class of 1975 and attended Ozark Christian College.
He is survived by his wife of Orleans; their children Lucas, Kristani Benjamin, Katie, Sarah, Joshua; their five grandchildren, Blake, Eli, Brynlee, Baylee, Carson and one sister, June M. (Fisher) Scott.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the Orleans Christian Church Unity Hall in Orleans with Bro. Thomas Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Orleans.
Friends are invited to visitation at Unity Hall on Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM
