Gary was a longtime member of Westside Baptist Church. He was employed with Alabama Power for over 40 years, mostly as a E&I Journeyman. He had many varied interests including travel, especially by motorcycle. He was a lifelong avid Auburn fan (War Eagle!) and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Elks Lodge #2571 and Walker County Genealogical Society. He loved spending time with his family and many friends, particularly his precious granddaughter, Piper. He also enjoyed spoiling his Siberian Husky fur-baby, Dixie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gary's memory to Parkinson's Disease Research or Westside Baptist Church (1101 22nd Street West, Jasper, AL 35501).
