Jason Leo Hale was born August 6, 1986 in Traverse City, MI and passed away March 21, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN at the age of 34 years.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Robert and Helen Pennington, and his maternal grandfather Junior Hale.

Jason is survived by his parents Tina and Donnie Pennington of the home, siblings Steven Hale and wife, Brittany of Kingsport, TN, Kenneth Pennington of the home, Kayla Pennington Tapia and husband, Ricardo of Johnson City, TN and Helen Pennington of the home, maternal grandmother Esther Larkin of Tennessee, several aunts, uncles, cousins who were like siblings, as well as other family and friends. The family is grateful that he had an opportunity to speak and pray with a pastor before his death.  The Lord lifted him of his burden, as he promises to do for all souls, and with that he found peace and readiness to enter into Heaven.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Jason will then be cremated with a burial at a later date.
