Doris P. Mace
Doris P. Sutphin Mace, 86, of Vienna died June 14, 2007, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 5, 1920, in Mineral Wells, a daughter of the late Joseph R. and Mary Beatrice Mattic Morehead.
She is survived by one daughter, Laura Carvell and husband, James, of Washington, W.Va.; seven sons, Joseph Sutphin and wife, Mary, of Parkersburg, Gary Sutphin of Vienna, Larry Sutphin and wife, Pamela, of Parkersburg, Dwight Mace and wife, Shirley, of Parkersburg, Dwayne Mace and wife, Cathy, of Little Hocking, Ohio, Walter Paul Mace and wife, Angie, of Sistersville and James Mace and wife, Georgia, of Marietta; brother, Donald Morehead of Lebanon, Ohio; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert J. Sutphin; second husband, William B. Mace; two sons, Edward and John Mace; sister, Eloise Wade; and brother, Robert M. Morehead.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor David Easter officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
