Sally Elizabeth, 'Betsy' to family and friends, was the daughter of Lafayette F. and Sarah Elizabeth LITTLE Arbuckle. She was a spinster and lived in her father's home all her life. After her sister, Mary Jane's death Jan 7, 1957, Betsy lived alone. In July her body was found by searchers where she had fallen into a gully near her home and had broken her leg. She had crawled more than two hundred yards to a tree where she died.
Miss Betsy is buried in the New Hope Cemetery in an unmarked grave.
Miss Betsy is related to me through both her parents. Her father Lafayette is my 2nd great Uncle and her mother Sarah Elizabeth is a cousin a few times removed.
