Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Carl, 88, passed away on October 25, 2007, in Salt Lake City.He was born on Sept. 10, 1919, in Pleasantview, Idaho to John Helmfred Larson and Selma Maria Grell Larson.

He married Helen R. Schofield on January 9, 1942, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Carl retired from American Oil. He loved to fish, hunt and travel in his motor home. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed spending time with his numerous friends talking about his various escapades. He had a strong testimony of our Heavenly Father's plan and always had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his wife, children Diane Fields, Judy (Steve) Smith, Lorane Stone, Alan (Maureen) Larson; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren, and one son-in-law.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Lincoln Heights Ward, 601 East Mansfield Avenue (3115 South). A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary at 6500 South Redwood Road and one hour prior to services at the church.
Interment will be at the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
