Bob Wright, age 74, resident of Waverly Hall, GA, died on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at Parkhill Cemetery on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, 4:00 p.m., with Reverend Jeff Amsbaugh officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Mr. Wright, son of the late Howard Robert Wright and Jessie Austin Wright, was born June 15, 1935 in Ashville, NC. He retired from Davey Tree Expert Co with over 35 years of faithful service. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by two brothers, Dean Wright and Pat Wright.
He is survived by his wife of over 36 years, Linda Wright of Waverly Hall, GA; one daughter, Stephanie Hardy and her husband Shandon of Columbus; one son, Adam Wright and his wife Shalonda, also of Columbus; two granddaughters, Kennedee Olivia Wright and Sarah Paige Hardy; other relatives and friends.
