Obituary for John Kenneth Wright, Jr.
John "Kenny" Wright Jr., 67, of Hobart, Oklahoma went to his heavenly home on March 21st, 2021. He was born on January 31st, 1954 to John Sr. and Vera Wright in Clinton, Oklahoma. Kenny was blessed with a second mother through his father's wife, Jerri Zimmerman. Kenny grew up and attended school in Hobart, Oklahoma and graduated from Hobart High School in 1972. After graduation Kenny moved to Missouri to work as an Apprentice under a Building Contractor. Kenny then moved back to Hobart after his Apprenticeship. He met and married the love of his life Renate Nash on September 10, 1983 in Hobart, Oklahoma. Kenny worked in the Oil Field as an International and National Drilling Consultant and traveled to Africa, Congo, Papua New Guinea, South America, Ecuador, Columbia, Paris and Australia. He also owned and operated Wright's Roofing and built KJ's Pizza. Kenny also worked as a Catastrophe Adjuster for twelve years which allowed him to travel the states and see the world. He loved being with his family. Kenny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
