Patricia was born on Feb. 15, 1933 in Herrick, Ill., the daughter of Basal and Ida Beck. She moved from Dixon, Ill. to Ladysmith in April of 1999. She and Mason “Jack” McCann were married in Dixon in March 1969.
She was employed with her husband in their water softener and swimming pool business. They later sold the store, and she went to work at Donaldson’s in Dixon. She was in the Dixon Lioness Club and was a volunteer tour guide for Ronald Regan’s home. She lost her husband after a long cancer battle in March of 2003.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Mary McCann-Bishop and John of Bruce and Elizabeth (Brad) Roggendorf of Bettendorf, Iowa; her son, Cody McCann of Ladysmith; her granddaughters, Michelle (Jon) Westrum, Hannah (Joe) Bishop-Allen, Linnea (Kaitlyn) Mason and Emily (Thomas) Perriere; her grandsons, Timothy (Nikki) Rick and Donald Lindquist; four great-granddaughters and six great-grandsons. She is also survived by her sister, Peggy Mayberry of Rochelle, Ill.; her brother, Elvis Beck of Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.
She will be joining her seven brothers and two sisters.
She will be missed by her beloved dogs.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ladysmith with Rev. Craig Zandi officiating.
Burial will be at a later date.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, at Cooper Park in Rochelle, Ill.
