La Villa - Luis Garcia, 58, passed away March 17, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center after a lengthy and courageous battle with his illness. He was born November 13, 1962 to Margarito and Benita Garcia in Kingsville. Luis worked as an experienced mechanic at a local John Deere business. He is survived by his wife, Leandra Garcia; son, Aaron L. Garcia; daughters, Krystal C. Garcia and Kathleen C. Garcia. He is also survived by his brothers, Victor Morales (wife, Janice), Juan Garcia, Eloy Garcia, Jose A. Garcia (wife Josefina), and Hector Garcia; sister Diana Dominguez; and numerous nephews and nieces. Luis is preceded in death by his parents, Margarito and Benita Garcia.
Viewing will be two days, Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. with a holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on both days.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
