Patricia A. Arthur, 75, passed away on March 16, 2021. Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Borysewicz and Rose Severino Borysewicz. She was happily married to Thomas Arthur for 43 years.

She was a graduate of the Mont Pleasant High School Class of 64’. After graduating, she would go on to work for New York State in the Department of Labor. After being married to Tom in 1978 she started her family with her two sons; Christopher and Patrick. She then went back to work for the State, working in the Department of Health, and then the Department of Labor. In total, she served as a State worker for over 30 years. While her sons were growing up, she was very active as a PSA at St. Pius X Church in Loudonville, and La Salle Institute in Troy. She loved seeing the ocean, and taking trips with her family to be near the water. In her 16 years of retirement and with a natural green thumb, she created a flourishing garden all around her home.

She will be forever missed by her husband Tom, her sons; Christopher and Patrick, her sisters; Helen Stackiewicz, JoAnne Thomson, and Barbara Jewett, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 5pm-7pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at St. Pius X Church in Loudonville, NY. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Rotterdam.
